Explorer Team Member – Volunteer Role Description
Explorer Team Members support the delivery of a safe, fun, youth‑led programme for young people aged 14–18. They work as part of the Explorer leadership team to help run sessions, support young people’s development, and contribute to the smooth running of the unit.

Core Responsibilities
- Helping plan and deliver weekly Explorer sessions
- Supporting young people to develop skills, confidence, and independence
- Assisting with camps, expeditions, and district events
- Ensuring safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding standards
- Encouraging youth leadership and participation
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment
